A Taste of Hope

Hope Monahan owns an earth to table restaurant in quiet Addington, Mass. A young widow, Hope has rebuilt her life. It’s quiet and slow paced, but she likes it that way. International playboy superstar chef Lucien Durand is in Addington to open a new branch of his string of Cajun restaurants, L’Enfer. He means to stay only until he gets L’Enfer Addington off the ground.

When Hope and Lucien compete with each other for the title of Addington’s best restaurant, will they create a full course of true love? Or will it be a recipe for disaster?

“I loved “A Taste of Hope”! The characters are both alluring and charming, the plot is fun and surprising, and the romance is absolutely delicious. It is always fun to watch a gorgeous bad boy lose his heart, and this book delivers that and so much more. Ms. Alsen’s descriptions draw you into the world of famous chefs and aromatic kitchens. Not only is the romance one that simmers from the start, but both the hero and heroine have believable character arcs that show them changed for the better by the end of the novel. This is a real page turner and a quick and satisfying read.”  Lisa Asenato, author of Pirate by Night.

“Wonderful characters. I especially loved Lucien. He’s an amazing hero. French. Sexy. and can cook. What’s better than that. You want Hope to be your best friend. The town of Addington is a place we should all visit. I think this is part of a series and I will definitely read the rest!” Jennifer Bokal, author of The Gladiator’s Mistress, #1 on Amazon’s Ancient World Romance Listing.
